For over 100 years the Kitemark has served as a mark of quality, integrity and trust for products. Now the Kitemark is available for services, bringing with it the same levels of reassurance, whichever service sector is involved.
Whether it be trade, professions or public services, the Kitemark provides an independent third party endorsement that a service consistently meets the requirements of the appropriate standards.
Gaining the Kitemark is not easy! Service providers need to have in place a quality plan or quality management system (eg. ISO9001) and be evaluated against specific service criteria as set down in the standard.
If successful, the company earns the right to use the Kitemark in conjunction with its service. To maintain this right, BSI carries out regular inspections against the standard.
