Riding helmets:

The Kitemark symbol is regarded so highly that the British Equestrian Federation and the Pony Club will only allow riders to take part in an equestrian event if they are wearing a Kitemark riding helmet.

Playground and Sports Equipment

Most local authorities, schools and public buildings require independent and third party certification to confirm that playground equipment complies with relevant European Standards. The best known of these is the Kitemark which is endorsed by the Association of Play Industries as their preferred way of demonstrating product safety and performance.

You can find the Kitemark on playground equipment such as swings, slides, runways, carousels and rocking equipment. It also covers ramps and jumps used by skateboarders, BMX-ers and inline skaters.
